The Aharit HaYamim festival began in 1994 as a tribute to Emil Leuchter, father of the Leuchter family, who was an American-born musician who played with Shlomo Carlebach, the Diaspora Yeshiva Band, JBB (Jerusalem Blues Band) and many other artists. This is the seventh year that the Aharit Hayamim festival is taking place in Old Massuot Yitzchak in Gush Etzion. This place has significant meaning for our family. Our grandparents, Yoni and Rachel Doron were a part of the group that established the community in 1945.
